Ben Jaffe brings over 20 years experience working with large and small non-profits, urban farms, community gardens and rural farms. Among many roles he has worked as Community Garden liaison with the Chicago Park District, Apprenticeship Instructor at Windy City Harvest, Associate Director and Director at Chicago Lights Urban Farm and now is co-owner and operator at Earthlore Farm. In these varied roles, he brings experience in direct program delivery, non-profit budgeting and mission-alignment, team management, trauma-informed care via programming and staff management, designing and building infrastructure, gardening on a small scale, farming on a large scale and navigating the landscape of the Chicago region.
